ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS

The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic announces the following musician openings for our historic 2022/2023 season:

• SECTION VIOLIN
• SECTION VIOLA
• PRINCIPAL CELLO
• SECTION CELLO

Auditions will take place during the month of August at locations in Bloomington, Indiana and at the Helen Haddad Hall in Columbus, Indiana.  A schedule of location and times will be available on this page by August 1, 2022.  All auditions will be by appointment only.  

The 36th Season of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic will be an exciting experience for all involved.  Six conductors from around the country are ‘auditioning’ to become the new full-time music director of the CIP.  Each has a program that allows the conductor to showcase their talent while also giving a challenging & unique experience to all our musicians.

In addition, two special guest conductors will be present for our annual Holiday Pops performance (Brian Eads) and community favorite Salute! performance (Roger Kalia).
