We have been working diligently to keep abreast of the COVID-19 issues particularly those that affect any Federal Assistance available to non-profits. We are constantly evaluating additional funding opportunities we feel can help the CIP navigate these unchartered waters. Our Finance Team’s strong communication enables the Executive Team to assess the current situation as well as attempt to project what the future may hold. Right now the future is very difficult. The best we can do is be prepared to adjust to changes we can only anticipate.
We are grateful for your patronage, support and patience while we navigate the unknown to the best of our abilities. We are grateful for your trust in the organization’s ability to be good stewards in these challenging times. Our Board, Staff and Musicians place significant value in your trust. We will all gain character, perseverance and determination from this experience as well as understanding, patience, and the reminder that we are a community, and we will gather again to celebrate that community. What a celebration it will be!

“The health and safety of our patrons, musicians and staff are our primary concern in navigating through this most difficult and unprecedented situation,” said Philharmonic Board President, Barry Turner. “We are committed to taking the necessary actions to protect our community as a whole. And therefore, we are cancelling our next 2 concerts: “Forrest & Brahms” on March 28 and “Tchaikovsky!” on April 25. The CIP has made this decision for the welfare of our patrons, artists and staff, and in support of and compliance with our community’s leadership efforts to reduce the risk for everyone.”
This will give our office staff time to prepare to address your calls in professional and proficient manner.
For single/season ticket-holders, we are offering the following two options:
- It is your continued support that will enable the CIP weather this situation. If you are ticket holder for the March 28, 2020 “Forrest and Brahms” concert and/or the April 25, 2020 “Tchaikovsky!” concert, will you consider your tickets a donation to the organization? If you choose this option, please notify us by email at our events email at Events@thecip.org. All requests will be gathered in this centralized email account and a response will be delivered in a timely manner.
- Exchange for a gift certificate
