The first annual Columbus Rotary Club “Alice Curry,  Music Makes Your Life” award was presented to long-time community volunteer and musician extraordinaire… Tom Pickett.

This award is presented by the Columbus Rotary Club as an annual recognition of a citizen/organization who has made significant contributions to the quality of life in our community by bringing, encouraging and sustaining music in our community.  As the Executive Director of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, an active Rotarian and community leader, Alice Curry epitomized these qualities.  A $500 donation to the Philharmonic will be made by the  Columbus Rotary Board of Directors in memory of Alice Curry.
