The prize vehicle is the base model 2017 Stingray Corvette. See vehicle specs to the right in the sidebar. Because the car will not be ordered until the winner is drawn, the winner may choose the exterior color of the prize vehicle. Premium color (black rose metallic, Corvette racing yellow, long beach red metallic) fees will be charged by the dealer at Chevrolet of Columbus in Columbus, Indiana. Other performance packages are available for an additional charge through the dealer. For example, you may upgrade to a convertible Z06 with a decal/stripe package for a price arranged with the dealer.
I want to enter the raffle, but I live out of state. Do I need to be present at the drawing to claim my prize if my number is drawn?
No, the winner of the prize vehicle does not need to be present to win. If the winner is not present, he/she will be notified via phone, certified mail or email within 7 days of the drawing. The prize must be claimed within 30 days of the drawing. If the winner declines to take the prize or the prize goes unclaimed, the Philharmonic will immediately notify the runner up that he/she is the winner of the vehicle.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. Indiana Gaming Commission regulations require that individuals must be 18 or older to purchase tickets or be named on the ticket as the entrant.
When and where will the winning ticket be drawn?
The winning ticket will be drawn on July 29, 2017 or when 999 tickets have been sold - whichever occurs first. The drawing will take place at the Chevrolet of Columbus dealership.
What is the cost of each ticket?
Each entrant must pay $150 per ticket.
How many tickets will be sold?
The maximum number of tickets that will be sold is 999.
How will the proceeds from this raffle be used?
The Corvette Raffle fundraiser proceeds will be used to support the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic's youth music education programming and provide scholarship funding for young musicians who cannot afford to buy or rent an instrument. Find other ways to support the Philharmonic here.
I just purchased a raffle ticket. How long will it take to receive my ticket?
If an email address is provided on your registration form, a receipt with your raffle ticket number will be sent electronically via email. You will not receive a physical ticket in the mail due to postal regulations. If an email address is not provided, please allow up to four weeks for us to mail your confirmation receipt with your raffle ticket number. All tickets purchased before the entry deadline (July 28, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. EDT) are included in the drawing even if the entrant's confirmation receipt arrives after the drawing date.
What types of payments are accepted?
Payment for a raffle ticket purchase will be accepted in 3 forms:
(1) Cash; (2) Check, payable to Columbus Indiana Philharmonic; (3) Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard (Tip: entrants can call our office at 812-376-2638 or fax information to 812-669-2336 to process debit card transactions)
Can I help sell raffle tickets on behalf of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic?
You can download the individual ticket entry form here and email it to friends and family interested in entering the contest. Ask each entrant to complete the form and mail it along with a check, cash or debit card number to Columbus Indiana Philharmonic at 315 Franklin Street in Columbus, IN 47201.
